tomorrow's my last day of school before we get off for schpanksgiving..(gosh, why is it so fun to say it that way?)

Currently I am writing..(okay, i'll be honest...PROCRASTINATING) on writing my Civil Liberties Essay for American Studies which is due.

tomorrow...........2nd period.

WEDNESDAY is my favorite senior's big 1-7 birthday partay! YYYAYAY. 3 favorite girls in one restaurant. she invited me and my bff to her daddy's restauant.. it'll be fancy. we're all wearing dresses. i'm so excited!!

i never turn down the opportunity to wear a dress! and then i need to make room for mike and other friends who i've been neglecting :(

Angela and the sciences usually don't mix but.......

Lately I've actually been enjoying Chemistry now that I've started to get the hang of it.

I mean, once you've familiarized yourself with the periodic table and make an actual effort to really try to grasp the challenges chemistry presents...it's actually...dare I say....FUN!?

my friends are the coolest

Earlier on today I received a text from a friend who just got back from San Francisco, California from a wedding. She had just arrived at JFK airport in New York when she sent me this:

"I almost got arrested lol"

When I replied to her text asking how and why this is the hilarious response I got back:

" on the plane a small to go pack of pringles cost $3 and all i had was $1.50 cause my mom only had a credit card so i made a protest saying it was too expensive n passed a petition around the plane. Everybody signed it! n i caused a riot n the guy came to me n asked me to go to the front of the plane so wen we got out they could hold me custody =\ but the rest of the people on the plane said to leave me alone cause i meant well"

My textual response? ::

"Hahahaha omg u r my hero!!! This is the coolest thing ever!! You did well in standing up for your beliefs!!"

With all the pressure to get out and vote surrounding me (fashion blogs, internet, signs galore) I just wish I was 18 and registered to vote!!

Damn it! This is America's most important elections and I so wish I could somehow make a difference. Aarrgg! They should lower the voting age!!

Anyway, it's red vs. blue. (Democrats vs. Republican) and Black vs. White (Obama vs. McCain)

Personally, I'm rooting for my man, OBAMA!!

Let's hope he wins and FINALLY brings some much needed change and economic relief to us all!
