Santa Claus is gracing the coca-cola cans, the christmas tree is up ( yesterday my brother and I put up the star), holiday songs are all their playing on all radio stations, the stores have begun to flood with anxious deal-seekers and present-buyers.
I think it's safe to say It's christmastime!
What I'm really looking forward to is December the 10th! That's the day my grandma is coming from SPAIN!!!
YAYY! I love her! She always brings such joy to our monotonous school and work lives. She brings jokes, funny stories, a great big smile, and a beautiful and optimistic view towards life. And she prepares us for the real deal (DECEMBER 24TH AND 25TH!) Woooooooooooo!
I can't wait to spend my time with my precious and petite grandmama.
One downfall: Today I Joined youthcourt (I'm headed to the first meeting tonight at 9) As I'm looking to Pre-Law as a very possible career that I would love, I decided to submerse myself in this little group of people who would like to bring justice to the community *holds up fist*
Really, I've joined because I want to take a peek at what this whole law schtuff is aaaaaall about. I think I'm really gonna like it. The head of it explained everything to me today and I was quite excited :D
Anyway, back to the downfall: the day my grandma arrives here I have a youth court meeting from seven to nine. *fumes* WTFFF. So I'm going to have to be leaving midst all the excitement and chatter that will be occuring in my household. DAMN YOU YOUTH COURT. TAKING AWAY PRECIOUS TIME FROM MI ABUELA.
HEENNYYWAYYS,
that's about it for today. I dropped my prospective journalism class for next semester (because I've lost any and all interest for that carreer opportunity) and instead took up a computer class to fill in the remaining 1/2 credit mandatory to graduate that was still lingering. And my wonderful guidance counselor told me today that our high school actually offers law classses! YAY! I shall take them next year since they're only available for 1st semester and for a full year (both of which are obviously unavailable at the time seeing as how 1st semester is about to end, and the year course...already started.)
That's all.
Au revoir, mon journal!
